Day 3 was non-stop Porto. Armed with a 24-hour pass to use Porto’s impressive public transportation system, which includes trams, buses, and subway trains, not many popular places were left unseen. Not even port wine tasting during the day slowed me down.

Wine didn’t slow you down? Impressive! How many countries did you visit?

Just one; I only had 10 days and there were too many places to go in Portugal. I visited other cities and towns.

Oh, I just meant in general. You seem well-traveled.

Oh, well, bless me, Padre, for I have traveled to the following: Italy, England, France, Iceland, the Netherlands, Germany, Bratislava, Hungary, Czech Republic, Philippines, Japan, Jamaica, Mexico, Canada, and many states in the U.S. now, understand though that just because i’ve been to all those countries, it doesn’t mean I’ve been in every region. I’ve been in most of the well-known ares and a smattering of those not too well known. I think those are most, if not all of them — so far! Got to keep on truckin’!

You’re definitely well-traveled! Visiting Japan must have been an interesting experience. I never traveled outside the U.S., however, I’m sure I will (someday…hopefully).

Believe me, I still have more to see. I would love to go to Egypt but I don’t know how safe that is right now. Where would you like to go if you can right now?

I’m sure seeing the Great Sphinx of Giza would be a surreal experience. Hmmm…that’s a good question! If I could teleport to a particular place right now, I suppose would visit the Atacama Desert, or Madagascar.
