Sweaty and winded,
Greeted with closed boarding gate,
Missed connecting flight.
Re-routing given,
This time a two-hour delay;
Murphy’s Law gone wild.
Frazzled since midnight
Checked-in carry-on is lost,
Along with my mind.

It was like combining the movies of Groundhog Day and The Terminal — delay after delay and running after the connecting flights and not making them or they turned out to be delayed even more and being stuck at the airport for hours . . . .
