Started out in Prague,
I’ve so much to catalog.
Was I all agog!
[The photos that follow include Church of St. Nicholas, the Lennon Wall, St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle, Powder Gate, the Astronomical Clock, Hotel Rott, Dvorák Museum, Alfons Mucha Museum, Petrin Park, The Loreto, and Konopište and Karlštejn Castle.]
You have an amazing photo-journalistic eye Karina; these are great shots. And thats coming from someone who had 20 years as a professional photographer amongst my various careers.

Thank you for your kind words. I wish I had a more decent camera but I am a traveler first and a photographer last. If I didn’t have a blog, I probably wouldn’t take pictures. I always thought storing memories in my brain is enough. However, since reading about Sam Sycho, it makes me think twice.

You should take more photographs. If you ever decide to purchase a camera, then feel free to message me. I’ll point you in the right direction. I think everyone would appreciate seeing the world through your eyes. Ha — never trust the brain.

Thanks! I don’t like bulky things. Is there a good camera that is thin, light, easy to use for travelling? For an amateur who just want to take interesting pics but not have to carry a burdensome machine?

There are plenty of small cameras, and most of them are easy to use. I’ll send you an email.

Ha! Love that haiku — your signature piece. The architecture is spellbinding! On the bottom right photo, is that a black bear? Did you visit a zoo, too?
I’ve heard about the amazing paintings in the Mucha Museum. Were you able to go there?

Thanks! Yes, I went to Alfons Mucha Museum. Excellent visit. That bear is in a castle, not zoo. The Konopiste castle always had a bear in it.

Cool! The bear should be wearing armor.

Thank you! Yes, more to come from other places. Just got back recently and still getting myself organized to get into the swing of things. 😀
