O, how now,
What do I see before the mirror?
Last week there was only one.
Today, three?
Out, out, damn spots, out I say!
No Shakespeare, I,
But damn if I allow these spots to stay;
Alas, the sun’s beam has seared my skin.
Now I must cover up
Before they multiply and prosper.
Liver spots. Also called: solar lentigo. Flat tan, brown, or black spots on the skin common with age.

How about solar lentils since they look like those little legumes?

I’ve been told to avoid the sun due to my multiplying ‘sun-spots’. ‘But it’s so shiny!’, I said. Doctor not amused.

Ahhh — epidermis surface anomalies! There can be a variety of shapes and sizes, just like solar magnetic structures…I wonder if sunspot activity and epidermis blemish manifestation are correlated? We need more studies.
Thanks for the link!
