Fire, fire,
Trees on fire,
Skies are orange,
Times are strange.
Coronavirus,
Protestors,
They continue to rage,
Seeming endless outrage,
Where oh where,
Do we go from here?

Lobstah Mania

Plateful of lobsters,
Transformed to classic delights,
Mac and cheese and rolls.

Uninvited
Never was a guest,
It just made itself welcome;
But I said farewell.

My feet are famous,
They’re like Ghandi’s and Frodo’s;
My sole claim to fame.

Island Life 2020

Sheltering in place,
Each one is like an island;
So isolated.
Fleeting

Misery or joy,
Nothing remains forever,
In temporal sense.
The Stars and Stripes

Tall, proud, and breezy,
Waving independently,
The red, white, and blue.
Happy 4th of July!
Altercation
Dispute of all time,
Knock-down, eye-poked, hair-torn fight;
Then, the two brats laughed.

Dear Dad

Recline in your favorite chair,
Grab a cold refreshment,
Remove the ‘honey-do’ list from your view,
Take the remote control,
Remember we love you always,
Every day and not just today,
Recognizing it’s Father’s Day!
