Seeking asylum,
Nowhere to escape nor hide,
Let me in, you beast.

Weary pretender
He dreams of high-heeled shoe wear,
Miniskirts and slips.
Render him female
A padded bra and panties,
Starters to mend her.

We four kings of steel
Provide hydration to all,
Men, women, kids, pets.
Choose your favored spout
To squirt clear, filtered water,
Redundancy rules.
Flush with wealth
This land of milk and honey
Has much to offer.

Get ready for change
Three days before the New Year
Do you have your beer?

Life of the party,
Chugging drinks repeatedly;
Getting touchy-feely,
Much too flirty.
Borders blurred,
Speech sounds slurred,
Calling his boss a turd
And a colleague a nerd.
He falls on his nose;
His face glows,
Red as a rose,
“This office party blows!”
Slinking away with a sway,
Such a slow getaway,
Keeping everyone at bay,
Tomorrow he’ll call in sick for the day.

Started out as jovial
Then turned adversarial,
Out came a pistol
All for a crystal . . .
Meth.

Seek joy from within
Whisper words of gratitude,
Break open a smile.
Widen to a laugh
Butterfly effect inside,
Quickly taking wing.
Burst of hope erupts
Feel the tingle of lightness,
Weight of despair gone.
Join the express to the dark side of your mind . . .

Window to abyss
Visions of depravity,
Blinding evilness.
(Karina Pinella)
You cannot see me.
Burning perpetual stare.
I don’t need to blink.
(FlyTrapMan)
Look into my soul.
See the dark; it fills a hole.
Emptiness that’s full.
(Poet Rummager)
Adjust my glasses
and really see the true you.
Easy with no skin.
(Words and Feathers)
Visions in the dark.
You can never be certain —
that something is there.
(FlyTrapMan)
Windows to your soul.
The demon lurks in blackness—
blinding me with fear.
(Poetry Is My Aeroplane)
Slice the chosen one.
His blood runs until it’s done.
Come, let’s watch him bleed.
(Twisted Roads Of Madness)
Tearing you apart
Slowly, bit by bit, I ate
The heart you once owned.

I sense something afoot;
I scent a deadly toot,
That threatens to pollute.
You ate that massive bean burrito
Chased it with a glass of mojito,
So stop playing incognito.
No worries though;
I’ll clear the air flow,
By politely asking you to go.

Birds all in a row
Not waiting for Godot though
But for juicy worms.
