Not always a straight path,
Sometimes the road forks as an aftermath,
Two different ways to go inevitably,
Either together or separately,
But memories will linger,
Some remaining forever,
Maybe even changing over time,
With thoughts becoming more sublime,
Until fondness wins over pain,
While walking down Lovers’ Lane.
