Fantastic pictures, Karina! The green lights on that castle made me think of a place covered in kryptonite hahah

That is actually a mosque, although it does look like a castle.

I loved it!! Falafel and hummus and cucumber salad every day, not to mention baba ghanoush and shwerma.

That looks interesting! Did you go alone, with a group or part of work? I have an instructor friend who is in Egypt.

Vacation with my sister and our husbands. We joined a small tour group (12 people) since we’ve never travelled to the Middle East and not sure about the political climate there. However, we found it to be safe and the people were warm and friendly. They love Americans, so those we have come across say.

Having company helps with travel and work overseas! And planning. It is hard to do it all on your own.

True, but for this trip we went with a tour group with small number of people since we usually plan out own trip, but this time around, we used a tour company.
