Strolling down the street,
Looking dapper and well fed,
Smug with no cares,
You have food and a warm bed.
No hassle, no bill collectors.
Being a pampered cat can’t be beat.

That’s some well-fed cat indeed. I’m not much of a cat person (I have 3 pups!), until my daughter befriended a cat that had visited my backyard once. And since then, the cat, now named Xenia, has been a regular visitor whenever my daughter tends to her herbal garden. Something mystic, even mysterious, about cats.

I don’t have pets myself. Though I wouldn’t mind having the lifestyle of a well-cared feline.

I once had a fat cat named Setzer…and he was quite dapper! His fur looked like a tuxedo.

Perhaps you can do a tribute to Setzer some day . . .

I wrote a story called: When the Black Cat Stares. I’m not sure if it’s on my blog, but the story is definitely in one of the books I wrote or contributed to.

Hey, perhaps you can do a short film of Setzer protecting Mr. Bones from the likes of dogs named Rover.

Haha, I would, but Setzer passed away about five years ago. He would of scratched Mr. Bonez. Setzer had a bad attitude.

I had a real picture but it looked kind of blurry and it was a huge cat.
