Sole Journey

From birth to earth,
Luck of the draw decides
The side of track I reside
Could make life full of mirth or dearth.

Outside forces may sway my ways
But instilled within is my free will
To choose to self-destruct or help construct
So I can reach my highest potential.

Though all is temporary
Any suffering seems long
While bliss is quicksilver
But this doesn’t have to be.

How I walk and talk is my sole journey
How I feel and heal is my soul journey
Physical and spiritual matters are both key
To integrate myself perfectly and be happy.
