Both number and date line up
A rare occasion
*The numerical value of Pi is 3.14159265359, unless you really want to get carried away. But if you round off to just four digits following the decimal point you get today’s date of 3/14/16. Happy Pi day!

The Golden Pretzel
In yoga pose for minutes
Untangle me please
A chef and gourmand,
Food lover and explorer,
I dish what I wish.
*pronounced kwi-zeen-ista (a word I coined last year)
Fancy meeting you,
Free fall like a waterfall;
No ties, just one night.

Love at first flirt.
One night became two, three, four . . .
Until I ran out of digits,
So I quit the count.
My heart thought till death do us part.
I waited for a diamond ring.
Instead, you texted,“So long.”
You dwell in my mind,
No matter how much I try to evict you.
I thought straight vodka would flush you out.
You branded my soul,
Singed me with your touch.

Romantic evening
Rose petals strewn on the ground
Candlelit wild love
Twin sisters, Veronica and Erica,
Identical of face,
Yet different in many ways.
Always fretting with a permanent tic,
Veronica is neurotic.
Full of verve and nerve,
Erica loves anything exotic or erotic.
A grand family reunion is planned.
Surprise, surprise!
They discover a third sister,
Their long-lost triplet separated at birth.
Her name is Jessica,
Who has an obsession for kinky fashion.
She’s Veronica and Erica combined–
A neurotica, as defined.
